We are looking for contractors for our ToQuaFlics and NeMoQC projects to support us with use cases in the fields of aerodynamics and aeroelasticity. Participation in the tender process is possible via TED 395253-2024. The submission deadline is 8 August 2024 at 2 pm.
Potential of quantum computers for the optimisation and prediction of aerodynamics and aeroelasticity
We want to investigate the potential of quantum computers for optimisation and improvement in the fields of aerodynamics and aeroelasticity in our NeMoQC and ToQuaFlics projects using real industrial use cases. As different methodologies are to be used in the two projects, this call for tenders is organised in two lots. Suppliers can either bid on one of the lots or on both lots. We welcome bids for both lots.
Lot 1: Collaboration in the NeMoQC project
The industrial partner is working on the implementation of neuromorphic quantum computing concepts for optimisation and prediction problems. The results will also be tested for their feasibility in possible hardware realisations, and a roadmap in terms of hardware/software codesign will be developed. In particular, the methods are to be applied to test cases from aeroelasticity.
Specifically, as part of this mandate, we require, among other things
All information can be found in the tender documents including the service description on subreport ELViS.
Lot 2: Collaboration in the ToQuaFlics project
The industrial partner is working on the implementation of concepts for quantum algorithms, e.g. quantum algorithms for ordinary differential equations (quantum ODE) and quantum inspired algorithms (QIA), for solving flow-physical transport equations, e.g. Burger’s equation as a simple example or Euler’s equations as a more advanced example. The results will also be tested for their feasibility in possible hardware realisations, and a roadmap in the sense of a hardware/software code design will be developed. In particular, the methods are to be applied to test cases from aerodynamics.
