It’s hard to describe how much we enjoyed AFQC 2026: Two jam-packed days of meaningful exchange, relevant insights and true community spirit with over 320 attendees from across the quantum computing ecosystem. In 25 workshops, salon talks, keynotes (not to mention the pub quiz), we challenged everyone to engage with the community and share their insights and paths to progress. The agenda shows what we had going on: lots of everything!

AFQC 2026 showed the power of a strong community – but with engaging keynotes from Ina Brandes (Minister of Culture and Science of North Rhine-Westphalia) & Mona Neubaur (Minister of Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy and Deputy Prime Minister of North Rhine-Westphalia) and a panel discussion from the Digital City of Düsseldorf, we also represented Quantum as a top priority for politics and industry; that’s a pretty strong message too.

Here is our recap video and photos. Many thanks to EIN Quantum NRW for sharing our ambition and being a great support. See you next year at AFQC 2027 in a whole new and exciting place.
