With meanwhile nine hardware and seven software and application projects, we have established a strong quantum computing location in southern Germany with our DLR Innovation Center Ulm. At Quantum Effects, together with the DLR Institute for Quantum Technologies, the DLR Institute for AI Safety and Security and the DLR Institute for Engineering Thermodynamics, we want to show how we are helping to shape the quantum computing ecosystem from Ulm and why it is worthwhile becoming part of the DLR Quantum Computing Initiative as an industrial company, startup and expert.

Also at the stand are two projects that excellently illustrate our ecosystem approach: QuiX Quantum is developing the photonic quantum computer UPQC for us at the DLR Innovation Center Ulm. In our enabling technologies project StarQ, the DLR Institute for Quantum Technologies combines the unique DLR expertise with the know-how of the deep-tech start-ups Advanced Quantum, Diatope and the quantum computer manufacturer XeedQ: together they are developing processes for the surface processing of diamonds with atomic resolution, thus strengthening the NV centre ecosystem in Germany and Europe.
