Auf dem AFQC 2026 bringen wir Expert:innen aus dem gesamten Quantencomputing-Ökosystem auf einer partizipativen Community-Konferenz zusammen. Das Programm startet am Mittwoch um 11 Uhr, davor gibt es ein sanftes Warm-up im Netzwerk-Café. Das Programm endet am Donnerstag nach dem Mittagessen mit einem Cooldown wieder im Netzwerk-Café.

🕘 Doors open at 8, our Quantum Café at 9 and the program starts at 11. On the second day we open at 8, our Café at 8:30 and the program starts at 9:30.
🍿 We’ll close the first day with a panel discussion by Digitale Stadt Düsseldorf e.V. and a quantum pub quiz by our friend Jan Werum – and then: Party! There’s dinner, an open bar and a beautiful outside area to relax and network (or win the pub quiz).
🍲 There will be light breakfast, lunch and dinner + an open café and a bar, all free of charge. 🌿 We’re veggie and vegan friendly & please tell us if you have special requirements
🗣️ The primary event language is English (but to tbh. we just want you to talk, talk, talk 🙂

So funktioniert das AFQC 2026
Das AFQC 2026 ist ganz auf Partizipation ausgelegt. Dafür haben wir Räume angelegt, in denen verschiedene Arten von Zusammenarbeit möglich sind:
· Workshop & Business Case sind ganz auf Workshops ausgelegt. Hier coden wir oder gehen gezielt gemeinsame Herausforderungen an.
· Der Salon bringt zwei Hosts und ihr Publikum in einem Salon-Talk ins Gespräch: Hier wollen wir die großen Fragen drehen und wenden.
· Das Pitch Deck ist der Ort, um große Ideen vorzustellen, Firmen und Dienste zu pitchen oder Forschungsansätze zu präsentieren. Bitte hier anmelden.
Vom AFQC 2025 zum AFQC 2026
Wir haben viel gelernt beim letzten AFQC 2025 in München: Wir haben Herausforderungen gemeinsam, die wir nur gemeinsam erfolgreich angehen können; es gibt ein großes Interesse, diese Herausforderungen nicht nur zu benennen, sondern auch konkrete Lösungen dafür zu entwickeln. Und: es braucht mehr als ein Whitepaper, um all das zusammen und nach vorn zu bringen.
Nachdem wir auf dem AFQC 2025 aus der Vogelperspektive auf das Ökosystem blickten, setzen wir beim AFQC 2026 deswegen tiefer an und bringen Expert:innen aus dem ganzen Ökosystem direkt ins Gespräch: in einer breiten Paletten an Workshops, Salon-Talks und Meet-ups, die dazu gemacht sind, Wissen auszutauschen, Brücken zu schlagen und die Probleme an der Wurzel zu packen.
Das ist für eine Veranstaltung, die das gesamte Ökosystem ansprechen und einbeziehen will, keine triviale Aufgabe. Deswegen haben wir drei Entscheidungen getroffen:

AFQC 2026 setzt noch stärker auf Partizipation. Das erreichen wir mit einem sowohl breiteren als auch spezielleren Programm und einem stärker auf Zusammenarbeit ausgelegten Konzept. Mit Meet-ups in den Pausen bringen wir außerdem existierende Communities zusammen und setzen Andockpunkte. Statt Keynotes und Paneltalks gibt es Workshops von Expert:innen für Expert:innen.

Ein Tag für AFQC 2026 ist nicht genug. Indem wir das Programm auf zwei Tage legen, bringen wir mehr Breite und Tiefe ins Programm und ermöglichen vor allem tieferen Austausch zwischen den Teilnehmer:innen. Indem wir den Vormittag des ersten Tages und den Nachmittag des zweiten Tages entzerren, ermöglichen wir eine einfache Anreise und Abreise an den Veranstaltungstagen. Das AFQC 2026 startet am Mittwoch um 11 Uhr und endet am Donnerstag nach dem Mittagessen. Wer früher kommt oder länger bleibt, ist aber herzlich eingeladen in unserem Networking-Café (dort kann man auch jederzeit gut arbeiten).

Das Abendprogramm des AFQC 2026 muss knallen. Einfach eine Bar öffnen nach einem Tag voller Anstrengengungen (Workshops) und Entbehrungen (Mittagessenportionsgrößen) reicht nicht. Deswegen setzen wir mit Programmpunkten am Abend neue gute Gründe, um mit uns zu feiern. Und mit der Einbindung des lokalen Netzwerks von Digitale Stadt Düsseldorf bringen wir noch mehr relevante Personen auch außerhalb des Netzwerks zum AFQC.
